Christmas Crafts Club

Tuesday 19th January 2016

Craft club is back!

If you haven’t sent back your reply slip to the office, please do so this week as there are still places available!

Today we will be making & decorating Xmas tree decorations from salt dough, cold porcelain  & decorating Xmas biscuits.

Next week will be our LAST SESSION ( Although I a considering running a club after Christmas if anyone is interested?)

We will be making floral table decorations so you will need to bring in a small (preferably square low-sided container for your oasis, in order to have something to put your greenery into!

Boo!!! FMD create a Scary Movie Trailer mwoahahahaha!

Checkout the fantastic work the GPS budding film makers made in only 1 hour in their last session before half term – all by themselves! Click on the FMD tab at the top of the page.
If you want to join Film Media & Drama Club next half term, complete the After School Clubs letter that you were given before the holidays & return it to school before Thursday 5th November when we will be making a short movie about Bonfire Night!

If you wish to continue with any of Miss Bennett’s clubs, you must complete a permission slip and return BEFORE half term. Each club needs a minimum of 10 children to continue (max 20). Letters should be available from school by the start of next week.

Each Club is working towards producing something that they will show to parents and the rest of the school before Christmas – it may be a concert, a show or a film!

FMD Videos

All videos that were filmed in last year’s FMD Club should now be available on the FMD Club page. Sorry for the delay, there were a few technical glitches that took a while to sort!

This year, things iMovie films should appear on the website a little more quickly!

We also hope to invite parents to screenings of our films – so watch this space!

CHILDREN TO ARRIVE BY 4.30pm at Deyes High

Mrs Hains has come to the rescue and found time today for ALL of Dance Club to rehearse, which means everyone can dance on Friday ater the Year5/6 Christmas performance/assembly! Yippee!!
It may be a bit of a squash on stage but, after two rehearsals today, at least everyone should know where to move to avoid bumping into each other, so fingers crossed for Friday!
Year 5/6 are wearing Christmas jumpers, so if Y4 could do the same, that would be great!
